Over a thousand of our customers, vendors, DGM Network offices and employees came out last Friday, May 17th, to take part in our annual customer appreciation event. Jean Petillon and Marc Petillon, owners of DGM Houston, fired up this tradition in 2007 as a way to show their appreciation to their customers. Today, this event is known as “DGMFEST” and due to the growth in business, has been moved from their office to an off-site location in order to accommodate the guests. Springhill Suites by Marriott on JFK Blvd, graciously allowed DGM to hold the event in a private lot behind their hotel which provided convenience to parking as well as the hotel for overnight stay.
DGMFEST kicked off with special music guest, Brandon Petillon who put on an absolutely fabulous performance and got the crowd going. Followed by Winter’s End, a crowd favorite, that really rocked out DGMFEST. The event was themed with Vegas flare and even included, Elvis, showgirls, and games. DJ Julio Huerta wrapped up the evening with some great booty shaking music.
DGM received rave reviews from several of their customers saying, “I had such a great time. You guys went all out. Great music, great crowd, nearly perfect weather and a fantastic venue! 2nd Annual Donny Frye Kilt Klassic Golf Tournament was held Thursday, November 14th, 2012 at Kingwood Country Club. DGM was one of 7 platinum sponsor at this years’ event. It was a beautiful day and there were so many that came out to support The Frye Daddy Foundation in a worthy cause. Frye Daddy’s Foundation gives back to the Kingwood/Atascosita High School golf programs and well as Elves and More. This year Breakbulk Americas Transportation Conference & Exhibition was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, USA on Oct. 9th-11th. Breakbulk Americas is by far the largest and most significant gathering in the U.S. for companies involved in the shipping of heavy-lift, project cargo and traditional break bulk cargoes. It is where shippers have the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with the leading specialized carriers, forwarders, ports, terminals and service related industries who have the expertise and resources to handle oversized cargoes with unique handling requirements. DGM USA exhibited this year at the conference as well as hosted an opening night reception party with ProBox, Palletized Trucking and Nordana on Tuesday, Oct. 9th at the Crystal Ballroom at the Rice in downtown Houston. Next year the Breakbulk Americas Conference will be held in New Orleans, La. on September 23-26, 2013. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Uliser Notario, 24, lost his life on Saturday July 7th, in a tragic car accident. He was a kind friend and dedicated DGM employee who will be missed by all.
On July 19th, DGM Services, Inc. held a lunch benefit to raise money for Uliser’s funeral expenses. With the help of our incredible customers, vendors, employees, friends and family we met our goal! Your donations helped raise $4,000 that covered the cost of the benefit and funeral expenses. DGM would like to thank you all and your companies for your generous donations to our benefit.
